How does the Functional and Vocational Program and AFLS work?
The Assessment of Functional Living Skills is a criterion-referenced skills assessment tool, tracking system, and curriculum guide for teaching neurodiverse children, adolescents, and adults the essential skills needed in order to achieve their full potential, and gain the skills and confidence they need for functional living. The AFLS system also includes academic or school skills as it is designed to both support and enhance all mandated curriculums.
Our specialists mix and match each assessment module to create individually tailored assessments that best focuses on the areas of priority for each student.
