Enrollment Process
The first step is for parents to complete an application form available at the centre.
The completed application along with required documentation (as stated on the application form) should be returned to us. The student will then be placed on a waiting list and parents will be contacted to arrange an initial assessment.
Documents Required :
1. A Complete application form available at the Centre.
2. Two passport size photos of the child.
3. ID copies of parents & passport copy of the child.
4. Immunisation record of the child.
5. Previous assessment/diagnosis or progress report if any.
Prospective students are evaluated with an overall baseline assessment before admission can be granted. The purpose of this is to:
• Assess the child’s developmental level in cognitive, speech and language skills and physical development,
• Decide what would be the most appropriate classroom setting,
• Create an Individual Education Plan (IEP) with input from our multi-disciplinary team,
• Offer the most suitable educational and therapy intervention program.
Our Multi-Disciplinary specialist team will review all assessment records. Based on the results of this review, the child may then be enrolled in a class appropriate to his/her specific needs. If it is decided that the SBS programs are not suited to the child’s needs, our team will help parents explore other available alternatives.
